| Description | General Description of Work: the general scope of work for this project includes roof replacement throughout the campus where indicated on the drawings. a. Low-sloped roof areas: Remove the existing gravel-surfaced asphalt built-up roofing systems where indicated and install new multi-ply modified bituminous membrane roofing systems. In general, existing areas of single-ply roofing are not included in the scope of roof replacement. b. Steep-sloped roof areas: Remove the existing standing seam metal roofing on all buildings (Buildings 1 - 9) and install new pre-finished snap-lock standing seam metal roofing systems. In general, existing pre-engineered aluminum walkway canopies are not included in the scope of roof replacement. |
