2020 Street Sweeping

The work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to furnishing equipment and labor for street sweeping and removal of debris for approximately sixty-six miles (roughly 132 lane miles) of Township owned and maintained streets and roadways. The term “street” shall include the paved area between the normal curb lines of the roadway, whether or not an actual curb exists. The work also includes sweeping the following paved areas: 1. Township Building, 101 Commerce Drive 2. Parking lot of Miller Park, 220 Miller Way 3. Driveway and parking lot of Boot Road Park, 110 West Boot Road, West Chester, Pa All deposits of dirt, rock, gravel, leaves, sticks, paper, cans and other miscellaneous items within the areas to be swept and of a size which can be practically removed by sweeping operations shall be removed in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements. Water can be obtained through a high volume water line located in the Public Works Garage, 222 North Pottstown Pike, Exton, Pa.
