Generator Purchase and Installation

This project will include purchase and installation of three (3) generators at the following locations: 1. City Hall - 6601 East Highway 22 2. Arts and Conference Center - 500 Callaway Park Way 3. Public Works - 324 S. Berthe Avenue The existing facility electrical service will be modified to provide permanently installed, self-contained, outdoor EPA Tier-3 compliance, diesel-powered generators. The generators will have a sub-base double wall belly tank with a minimum of 48 hour run time at 50% load, leak detection and basic alarm functions. If longer run times are required, a separate fuel tank can be added and located next to the generator enclosure. The enclosure will be rated for 150 mph wind loading and noise level of 66 dBA. The utility electric service will be routed through a new automatic transfer switch and re-fed to the existing electrical gear.
