| Description | Concrete repairs and associated work at The Newport Area Career & Technical Center Automotive Shop, 109 Old Fort Road, Newport, RI 02840. The contractor shall remove 2 post automotive lifts from Bay #1, Bay #2 and Bay #3 in their entirety and complete any/all associated disconnections including, but not limited to electrical connections and hydraulic lines to temporarily relocate lifts to provide clear and unobstructed access to concrete repair areas. Contractor shall saw cut four (4) 48” x 48” sections of the concrete slab beneath existing automotive lift posts and identified by marking paint and provide a suitable sub-base for the placement of four (4) 6” thick concrete support bases using a minimum concrete mix design of 4000 psi. |
