Description | The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has a requirement to replace the existing broken DVR and to purchase, installation and programming of the new NVR, workstation, network switch, encoder, monitor and two racks, and all additional equipment and appurtenances necessary to get the Video Surveillance System (VSS) back up and running. The system is located at the Vancouver Federal Building at 500 West 12th Vancouver, WA 98660. The contractor shall perform VSS component installation as noted in the Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business set aside. Services shall be provided via a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 and the size standard is $22 million. The source selection process to be utilized for this acquisition is best value. The submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be defined in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Period of Performance for the installation is no later than 45 calendar days after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor is required to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that does not have an active registration in the System for Award Management. This is a synopsis announcement only. The Period of Performance for the installation is no later than 45 calendar days The Contractor is requested to submit any questions regarding this requirement via email as soon as possible but no later than August 10, 2022, 09:00 AM (PT) to Thomas.Westlake@fps.dhs.gov. Prospective contractors may contact the Government while preparing a quote in order to obtain clarification of the statement of work or to obtain other information needed to prepare a quotation. Any clarifying information issued by the Government will be provided to all prospective contractors. The site visit will be conducted on August 3, 2022, at 09:00 AM (PT) at the Vancouver Federal Building, 500 West 12th Ave. Vancouver, WA 92660. Offerors shall email Thomas Westlake at Thomas.Westlake@fps.dhs.gov by August 2, 2022, at 09:00 AM (PT) to confirm attendance to the site visit. It is highly recommended for interested offerors to attend the site visit to clarify any scope of work questions or other details of the required services. |
