| Description | The objective is to award a One (1) year contract with Four (4) one-year options to provide on a regularly scheduled basis trash/refuse/debris removal disposal and recycling services at all Smithsonian Institution facilities. The contracted services shall consist of Trash removal, recycling which will be treated as non-recyclable or recyclable waste. Recycling consists of the collection and removal of recyclable mixed paper products (mixed office paper and corrugated fiberboard - cardboard) and mixed containers (aluminum and metal cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles), scrap metal and bulky debris. All of the services are in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, which includes Maryland and Virginia. Task Orders placed under this IDIQ may include, but not necessarily limited to, services such as preventative maintenance, repair services and unscheduled trash removals (e.g., special events, construction, demolition, etc.) |
