Description

Drywall Repair Guidelines 1. Clean hole to remove any loose material. 2. Check for electrical cords and plumbing lines where you plan the cut. Replace damaged area with drywall material of same thickness as the drywall present. 3. Apply joint compound and fiberglass mesh or drywall tape as required. Structural Repairs 1. Remove and replace ceramic tile 2”X2” up to 12”X12” = price per sq. ft. 2. Remove and replace vinyl composite tile (VC) = price per sq. ft. 3. Remove and replace cove base price per ln. ft. (note: without damaging existing wall finish) 4. Adjust door unit (not latching) price per unit 5. Change out ceiling tile 2’X2’ and 2’X4’ price per tile from 8’ to 12’ height 6. Replace ceiling 2ft and 4ft cross tees in suspended ceiling system 7. Replace ceiling main tee runners in suspended ceiling grid system 8. Tighten ceiling grid wire to realign and level ceiling grid system 9. Remove and replace stair tread price per step 10. Remove and replace stair landing tread price per sq. ft. 11. Remove and replace carpet squares 2’X2’ = price per sq. ft. 12. Remove and install restroom door latches price per unit 13. Repair restroom stall dividers price per unit 14. Repair restroom stall doors price per uni 4. Let dry. Once dry, lightly sand the area until smooth. 5. Apply second coat of joint compound, let dry, sand. Repeat as necessary until blended into surrounding wall. 6. Texture patched areas to match and paint to blend with entire room ensuring consistent surface coverage and color. 7. If paint cannot be matched, whole wall needs to be painted.
