FSU Keen Building HVAC Basement Replacement

The objective of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to enable Florida State University (FSU) to enter into a purchase order (PO) with a Respondent to provide all labor, materials & equipment necessary to complete the HVAC renovation work at FSU Keen Building Basement. The scope of work consists of the following: 1.Remove AHU-3 & AHU-4. Remove smoke detectors from return and supply ducts. 2.Remove conductors through trough in room 0067. 3.Remove all conduit, junction boxes associated with AHUs, fire alarm, hot water, and chilled water pumps. Pumps to remain. 4.Remove feeder for panel ‘LA2’ and demolish panel ‘LA2’. 5.Remove FCU-73, FCU-74, FCU-75 & FCU-78. Remove conductors to branch tap or panel. 6.Separate equipment ground and neutral conductors in junction box in room 0015. 7.Reroute existing circuits to new panel. 8.Procure and Install new AHU-3 & AHU-4. Replace terminal piping and controls per plan. 9.Procure and Install new FCU-73, FCU-74, FCU-75 & FCU-78. Replace terminal piping and controls per plan. 10.Install Thermal diffusers as per plan. 11.Provide duct mounted smoke detectors in supply duct. 12.Install three new 20A, 1 pole circuit breakers, match existing. 13.Fire alarm components associated with project as per FSU Specifications. 14.Siemens controls associated with the project as per FSU specifications. All work is to be done as specified in the Construction Document. The project is to start upon issuance of the PO and be completed by mid-August 2020. The FSU Keen Building is located at 77 Chieftan Way, Tallahassee, FL 32306.
