Description

BP-01 (FM22233) General Construction The project scope includes an interior renovation, providing additional laboratory areas, upgraded HVAC and ventilation, and other miscellaneous improvements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality or irregularity, and award a contract that is deemed in the best interest of the Owner. This is a Construction Management Project. Bids for separate work packages must be on the bid form enclosed in the bid documents and accompanied by a certified or cashier's check of an Idaho Bank, or bid bond, with Idaho State Licensed Surety Company as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid made payable to: Idaho Transportation Department. The security shall be forfeited by the bidder in event of failure to sign the contract or furnish the required Payment and Performance Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of (100%) of the Contract amount will be required within (10) days after receipt of a properly prepared agreement between the Owner and the Contractor. Costs for bonds shall be included in contractor's bid amount. Contractors shall be licensed in the State of Idaho in accordance with the provisions of the Idaho Public Works Contractors' State License Law.
