Description | 1 Driveway Replacement: Replace the portion of the driveway which slopes toward the houses foundation, and cause ponding/water infiltration. install compacted gravel to raise the grade and correctly slope the new paving away. The area extends outwards from the house approximately 13 feet, with a length of 29 feet, for roughly 377 square feet. Saw cut straight and parallel/perpendicular edges where the new paving meets the existing paving. Field verify all dimensions. 2 Gutters and Downspouts: Replace all gutters and downspouts. Direct roof discharge to grade through downspouts and into the yard with bends and extensions 4' away from the foundation. At the Northwest downspout, direct water far out into the backyard. Provide splash blocks. Install permanent caps at abandoned storm inlets. 3 Replacement Siding: Remove all existing wood siding. Replace any underlying rotten/damaged wall sheathing. Install a "Tyvek" type house wrap, then install vinyl siding. Install all necessary trims, drip caps at all door/windows, and jmoldings as necessary for a complete system. Caulk all penetrations through the siding. All color/s per owner approval. 4 Window and Door Trim Wrap: Replace all existing rotten door trim to create a structural base for the wrap, then prime paint. Wrap all exposed door and window trim in pre-finished sheet metal. Apply color matched oil based sealant at all seams, edges, and over nail heads. 5 Exterior Wood Sash Window Repairs: Scrape off all loose glazing, and reglaze. Scrape off all loose paint, and touch-up prime paint, then finish paint all windows. Color per owner. 6 Alarms: Install a combination smoke/CO alarm in the basement, first floor, second floor. All alarms shall be sealed battery, 10 year lithium ion units. 7 Shower Valve: Replace the shower valve cartridge, to eliminate the leak. |
