Architect of the Capitol - Multiple Award Construction Contract Task Order AOCACB21R0053: Boiler Feedwater and City Piping Replacement at Capitol Power Plant. BASE BID: Construct temporary office and storage areas, including temporary enclosure fencing if required by the Owner. - Protect the building and site, building occupants and visitors during construction - Abate all remaining hazardous materials contained in the existing valve connection joints using the glove bag method. - Remove all piping and other - accessories as shown in the IFC plans. - Install new piping and other accessories, including valves, chemical injection points, etc. as shown in the IFC construction drawings and specifications. - Remove all protection and construction materials and equipment and restore the site to preconstruction conditions - Clean area and restore operation. before starting the succeeding phase. - Work to be done in 2 Phases (North and South). OPTION 1,2&3: - Remove all piping and other accessories as shown in the demolition plans. - Install new piping and other accessories, including valves, pumps, water meters, etc. as shown in the IFC construction drawings and specifications. - Remove all protection and construction materials and equipment and restore the site to preconstruction conditions - Clean area and restore operation.
