Description | For furnishing all plant, labor, material, and performing all work required to construct Womack Sewer Rehab. 2. REQUIREMENTS Major requirements associated with this Wastewater Rehabilitation project are: 1. Mobilization 2. Replace Approximately 8 Manholes 3. Approximately 8 Service Reinstatements 4. Relay Approximately 147 LF of 8" Sewer Pipe 5. Pipe Burst Approximately 4530 LF of 6"/8" to 8" HDPE 6. CCTV 7. Trench and Safety System Contractors Bid shall be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total maximum Bid Price, payable without recourse to City of Harrison Public Works, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) calendar days following the opening of Bids. All bids are subject to the conditions of the Information for Bidders of the contract documents. A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled at this time. 3. BONDS The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms provided each in the amount of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract Price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to City of Harrison - Public Works. 4. ATTENTION Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wages to be paid under the Contract as incorporated in these Specifications. Bidders are cautioned that Bids for this Project are subject to compliance with Arkansas Law for construction of Public Works as found in Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-101, etc. The Bidder shall thoroughly acquaint himself and comply with the provisions of these Acts. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received. 5. INFORMATION a. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED that Arkansas State Contractor Licensing Law applies to this project. Subcontractors are also required to be licensed according to Arkansas State Law. Licensure is not required to submit a bid; however, evidence of licensure shall be b.
