| Description | The Fiber Conduit Inter-connect project (Pink Route – Phase 1) includes installation of one 7-way multi-duct conduit within a 4-inch HDPE sleeve, installation of structures and surface restoration along the Veterans Memorial Parkway, South Grand Prairie Parkway, and Raccoon River Drive corridors in the City of West Des Moines, Iowa. Improvements include installing approximately 40,885 lineal feet of 4-inch HDPE conduit, installing 41,459 lineal feet of 7-way multi-duct conduit within the 4-inch sleeve, boring under river, boring under railroad with steel casing pipe, installation of handholes and vaults, installation of test stations, racking systems in the structures, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, traffic control and other associated improvements required for a complete and functional conduit network for the future installation of fiber optic cables. |
