Description

The North Dakota National Guard has constructed a new armory in Fargo, N.D. The tenant units require many items of technology to do their jobs for training and domestic response. This statement of work intended to describe the capability required of the audio-visual equipment and installation in the newly constructed building. The purpose of the items in the below request is to provide the units with equipment that is easy to use and capable of displaying to multiple locations at once. The NDNG is requiring easy- to-connect, and use displays with no touch panels programmed and maintained. The preference is to have auto-switch capable presentations for all items connected. Additionally, there is preference for control products with minimal or no additional programming needed to maintain and achieve the desired effect. Our users/Soldiers only work on the systems once a month and the touch screen controls are sometime too complicated to remember the processes on a monthly basis. Wireless and Bluetooth technology for displaying items on screens not allowed by DOD policy. The contractor shall perform all installation requirements. The rooms have a minimum of one monitor per room and controls are in either a conference desk or lectern. There are different requirements for all rooms depending on the function of the room. • Small Conference rooms • Conference rooms • Classrooms • An Auditorium • Large Training Room • Large Briefing Room • Training Conference Rooms • Physical Training Rooms
