Interstate 95 and Wickham Road Air Release Valve Replacement

This project involves the installation of a temporary force main by-pass, replacement of an existing Air Release Valve (ARV), installation of a new in ground structure housing the ARV, and installation of an in-line 30” gate valve. Contractor shall furnish and install the following: 1. Provide a 30” force main by-pass system, per Sheet C-1, throughout the duration of the construction project. 2. Demolition of the existing ARV, valve vault and cover. 3. Furnish and install two (2) 30” line stops with blind flanges as shown on Sheet C-1. 4. Furnish and Install 30” Gate Valve. 5. Furnish and Install 30” X 6” Tee. 6. Furnish and install 6” NPT ARV as shown on Sheet C-2. 7. Install new in ground ARV valve vault and cover per drawing and detail on Sheet C-2. 8. Contractor shall restore sod, landscaping, and sidewalk with like materials upon completion of the project. 9. Contractor is responsible for furnishing, installing, and maintaining silt fencing throughout the duration of the project (See Sheet C-2). 10. Contractor is responsible for all Maintenance of Traffic per DOT Index 611. 11. All work is to comply with FDOT and Brevard County Standards.
