Design and Construction Administration for its Athletic Facilities Improvements Project

Design professionals to provide services for design and construction administration for its Athletic Facilities Improvements Project. This Project is anticipated to include the following: - Removal of the existing football field and installation of a new football field with stands and scoreboard; - A new 400m 8 lane track with latex surfacing; - Demolition of a portion of the existing elementary school to accommodate the athletic field and accessory spaces. A new facade and minor structural modifications will be required to enclose the existing elementary school. - The existing parking lot on Shaw Ave. is to be replaced, full depth, based on the recommendations provided in the Facility Assessment survey prepared by GPD Group in 2019. Other misc. site related improvements will be included to provide a cohesive site design based on the new and existing work. Egress and accessibility will be reworked from the existing building to the proposed buildings to maintain continuity. - New parking lot lighting in the parking lot along Shaw Ave. It is assumed that (8) lights will be required to effectively illuminate the parking lot. - A new access road to allow emergency vehicles to access the site. This access road will be provided from Elm Ave. and connect to Elmwood Rd.
