Description

Managing the two (2) soccer field facilities at Veterans Park, located at 7400 SW 41st Pl, Gainesville, FL 32608.Providing all labor, equipment, services, insurance, materials and permits for the management/operation of the fields. Providing spring and fall recreational, tournament, and travel league play for youth of all skill levels and open field use opportunities (at least one day weekly available on a first come first serve basis) for the general public.Providing instructional services including: Group Classes, Clinics, Junior Programs, and Private Lessons.All programs and services shall meet ADA requirements and all local, state and federal laws. Providing practice, game, and tournament schedules to the County on a monthly basis to coordinate necessary maintenance.Advising and enforcing all rules established by the County. Responding to inquiries and concerns from the County or general public within 24 hours. Ensuring a representative is on-site, or immediately available, during events or to respond to emergencies.Immediately report maintenance issues, and accidents/incidents to the onsite Parks Maintenance Worker, or Parks and Open Space Management. Paying the field lighting / electric bill for the two (2) soccer field facility. Ensuring fields are maintained in safe, playable condition, grooming fields daily. Ensuring the fields and common areas are debris free, on a daily basis. The County reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted and to request additional information of one or more Consultants, either orally or in writing. Question Submission Deadline:November 27, 2022, 6:00am Due care and diligence has been used in preparing this Request for Proposal. The County shall not be responsible for any error or omission in this Request for Proposal, nor for the failure on the part of the Consultants to ensure that they have all information necessary to affect their proposals.Alachua County has established safety protocols to protect the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace and among the workforce. The Contractor agrees to comply with adopted Alachua County COVID-19 Procedure, as amended, concerning masking and social distancing as applicable to employees while working or providing services inside a Covered Alachua County Facility. The agreement shall be effective for the period beginning on the date of the fully executed Contractual Services Contract. Generally, the term will begin on October 1, 2023, and continue through September 30, 2028 unless earlier terminated as provided herein.
