Rehabilitate Taxiway William E. Stewart Jackson Municipal Airport

Major items of work include the rehabilitation of the taxiway at the William E. Stewart Jackson Municipal Airport. Approximate quantities include: 1. Cold Milling - 2,085 SY 2. Asphalt - 235 TON 3. Markings - 1,500 SF The project shall be completed within 60 Calendar Days of the Issuance of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages for this project shall be $500.00 per Calendar Day. There is not a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal established for this project, however, the Contractor is encouraged to utilize DBE firms for participation in this project. No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified with the State of Alabama. In addition, non-residents of the State, if a corporation, shall show evidence of having qualified with the Secretary of State to do business in Alabama. No contract will be awarded unless the contractor holds a current and appropriate license from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 120 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bidding. The deadline for questions is set at 10:00 a.m. CST, March 21, 2022
