Description | Request for Bids Community Partners in Action, Inc. (CPA) is requesting bids for secure doors at a juvenile secure residential treatment program located at 995 Sherman Avenue, Hamden, CT. CPA is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Secure Doors for 995 Sherman Avenue, Hamden, CT. Please email lmaraia@cpa-ct.org by 12:00 p.m., October 28, 2022, to register for the mandatory pre-bid conference. This is a CPA leased facility and not a State of Connecticut owned property. This project is supported by funding made available by the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. SUMMARY OF WORK o Removal of building materials and components, including selected existing plumbing and electrical systems. o Offsite disposal of all removed materials. o Removal and replacement of select doors, frames, hardware, and their associated openings. o Removal and reinstallation of select existing door hardware. o Patch and repair of existing finishes that are affected by new work. o Contractor is responsible to secure all building permits required to complete the work. o Contractor is responsible for providing local building authorities with any additional drawings they may require in order to obtain all permits. o Contractor is responsible to arrange for all necessary inspections and obtain the final Certificates of Completion and Occupancy. o Refer to the Project Manual for additional details regarding the requirements of this project.
