North/South Pumping Station Upgrades

North/South Pumping Station Upgrades - In general, the improvements consist of rehabilitation of the two-horizontal split-case pumps at each pumping station (four in total), replacement of the existing flexible couplings on each of the four pumps, replacement of two check valves at the North Pumping Station, replacement of one check valve at the South Pumping Station, removal of the limit switch on one check valve at the South pumping station and replacement of the limit switch with a flow switch, modifications to the pipe of one pump at the South Pumping Station, and all appurtenant work thereto. It is anticipated that award of the project will be made at the June 20, 2023 Board Meeting. No work at the two pumping stations will begin until the completion of current work at the Central Pumping Station which is anticipated on October 2, 2023 Locations: North Pumping Station - 1010 North Ridgeland Ave, Oak Park, Illinois South Pumping Station - 207 Garfield St. Oak Park, Illinois The undersigned agrees all work must be substantially complete within 270 calendar days from the notice to proceed with final completion a total of 330 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
