Audio / Video / Recording and Streaming Infrastructure Installation - City Hall Courtroom

Proposal Award: Date: September 22, 2022 Projects Completed: City Hall - March 2023 The City of Independence is requesting proposals for audio/video design & installation services for the new courtroom project at 120 N. 6th Street. This project would install a new audio/video system to allow for built-in video streaming and recording capabilities that would be utilized for virtual public meetings, trainings, etc. Events livestreamed could be watched anywhere there is adequate internet, including private homes, offices, or larger venues. In addition to including wireless microphones, it would also include one built-in stationary camera. The locations for installation are: o 120 N. 6th - Renovation City Hall The Installer is responsible for all material and installation of equipment for the City of Independence, Ks. All equipment and licensing will be placed in the name of the City of Independence and all rights and administration of the equipment given to the City of Independence. Security systems shall be administrated from City Hall for all buildings with online live access to security cameras and door access information. The City of Independence reserves the right to reject to add or delete options after the proposal is awarded, and expects appropriate credit or debit for said options. The City of Independence reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities should any occur as may best benefit the City. This proposal is good for 60 days from the opening date.
