Description

The IDOT HVAC and Electrical Upgrades project consists of the replacement of existing HVAC equipment in the Aeronautics Building (D6009). The system is comprised of Twenty-Two (22) Roof mounted heat pump units and Twenty-Two (22) above ceiling air handling units. In addition, the existing make-up air unit that provides outside air to the facility will be replaced. Electrical modifications will be required for this replacement. In addition to the work at the Aeronautics Building (D6009), electrical upgrades will be required at the Sign Shop (D0613). The existing equipment is near its useful end of life. The replacement consists of the replacement of the main service entrance equipment and the replacement of ten (10) branch panelboards.
