The purchase under this Invitation for Bid generally consists of the purchase of Rail Wood Tie Removal Service, and this service must be in strict conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. All fees are directly payable to website electronically. This will involve the submission of bid prices from each Bidder. The award recommendation will be to the Bidder offering the lowest price for the services as outlined NJ TRANSIT will not hold an in-person meeting for the Pre-Bid Conference. Contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with the State of New Jersey, Division of Revenue, Business Registration Certificate requirements (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). In addition, the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.14, Executive Order 117 (2008) and Source Disclosure Requirements (N.J.S.A. 52:34-13.2) apply to this project. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, regarding Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. NJ TRANSIT further requires that its Contractors shall agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with N.J.A.C. 17:131.1 et seq. to ensure that Small Business Enterprises (SBE) have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:25-11(b)(3) and N.J.A.C. 16:72-2.2, Bidders are notified that a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with their Bids.
