Florida State University Disaster Debris Monitoring Services

Florida State University (FSU) is seeking contracted services from one or more qualified Respondent to establish contracts for a qualified contracting firm to provide Disaster Debris Monitoring Services in preparation for natural disasters or other debris generating events on the Florida State University Ringling Campus located at 4750 Collegiate Dr, Panama City, FL 32405. This solicitation will result in the selection of at least one experienced firm to perform monitoring functions on the removal and lawful disposal of disaster-generated debris (other than household putrescible garbage) from public property and public rights-of-way, on site and at Temporary Debris Staging and Reduction Sites (TDSRS) within these locations immediately after a hurricane or other disaster. Respondent shall provide disaster management, debris monitoring, and Public Assistance Program support services to assist the University with disaster recovery operations, including monitoring the operations of the disaster debris removal and disposal contractor(s). The University shall provide a Debris Manager to work directly with the Debris Removal Contractor and the firms contracted to provide debris removal and disposal services. The University and/or its debris removal and disposal contractor shall provide debris management site(s) (DMS) for temporary storage and processing of storm debris.
