Lorain County Job and Family Services Stormwater and Parking Lot Improvement Project

Furnishing of all labor, material and equipment for the LORAIN COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES STORMWATER AND PARKING LOT IMPROVMENT PROJECT, using various materials in accordance with specifications prepared by KS Associates. All contractors involved with this project will to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders shall submit a list of equipment available and all labor shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or Letter of Credit equal to ten (10%) of the amount bid or a contract bond for the full amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a contract bond properly secured. Should any bid be rejected, such instrument will be forthwith returned upon proper execution of a contract. Each bid shall contain the full name or names of persons and company submitting the bid and shall be enclosed in a envelope marked"LORAIN COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES STORMWATER AND PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT".ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED ON OR BEFLORE JUNE 30, 2023. Any interpretation, correction, or modification to the specifications desired shall be submitted in writing to the Lorain County Administrator, 226 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the bid opening. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so. This Project shall include the construction of a parking lot expansion including drainage improvements such as a retention basin, storm sewers and lighting. An offsite storm sewer is required that is to be bored and jacked underneath Elyria Avenue.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
