Description | As of September 16, 2022, the developer will be self-performing. A firm construction timeline has not been established. The BEND is a proposed Commercial/Retail development at the northwest corner of Sunset & Durango. Included in this bid scope are Seven New Ground-up Multi-Tenant Retail Shell Buildings, a Movie-Theater Shell Building and a Single Subterranean Parking Structure with Full On-Site and Off-Site Improvements. Rough Grading on Civil page C4.08 - Sheet 089 – Offsite PW No: PW18-19972 Will Be Completed by the Owner Under a Separate Contract, and shows the condition of which we will accept the site. Grading Scope of Work will Include Building Certified Pads, Backfill Garage & Retaining Walls, Grading for Flatwork, Building Base, Curb Grading, Asphalt & Base, Landscape Grading to 3/10’ of Finish Surface, and Off-Site Improvements (see Rough Grading (Delivery Condition) for an Explanation of what Earthwork Scope is Being Completed By Others.) It is Required that Each Separate Building Be Bid as a Stand-Alone Number, per the Subcontractor Bid Form, as different buildings may be awarded to different parties. Please indicate as an alternate, any credit proposed, if multiple buildings are awarded under a single contract. Off-sitework and On-sitework bids are also required to be broken out separately. Building structures are designed as concrete, masonry, steel, metal stud framing and storefront/curtain wall systems with wood siding and EIFS exteriors. Some of the buildings also include wood ceilings as a part of the shell package. All escalators and elevators are included in the work scope. All trades invited.
