836 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury Clinical Practice Relocation

UConn Health (UCH) will be renovating approximately 11,500 square feet of the first floor (Tenant B) space located at Andy’s Center 828 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT in order to relocate the existing Simsbury Internal Medicine and Avon Orthopedic Clinics. The renovation will create an Internal Medicine, Orthopedic and Perfusion (Blood Draw) Clinics consisting of 24 patient exam rooms, XRay room, 15 offices, reception and check in/out areas, staff break room and other support spaces. The design team consists of Phaze Zero Design Architects /Interior Designers and Long Consulting for MEP engineering disciplines. The renovation will require working within an occupied building, the basement level below the fit-out space will be occupied during construction requiring coordination with the landlord and basement level tenant. Roof is directly above the UCH (Tenant B) space. The landlord is providing new roof top air handling units with ductwork stubbed into the UCH (Tenant B) space from the roof, electrical distribution panel(s), water supply piping stubbed through the floor from the basement, new sanitary mains in the basement, existing fire protection mains and branch lines provided by landlord, provide new sprinklers heads and relocate branch piping as required to accommodate UCH layout.
