Description

Well contractors to abandon 3 monitoring wells at the Cumberland County Ann Street Landfill located at 698 Ann Street, Fayetteville, NC. Cumberland County has a MSW Landfill with an existing monitoring well network and requires the abandonment of 3 monitoring wells for facility improvements. The facility is located at 698 Ann Street, Fayetteville, NC. The facility is operated and staffed by County personnel. The contractor is responsible for abandonment of the monitoring wells and any removal of above ground surface completions and protective bollards. Concrete debris generated during abandonment activities shall be transported to the facilities on-site concrete recycling area. Groundwater displaced from monitoring wells during abandonment activities may be directly discharged to the ground.
