Description

Falls Lake Bulkhead Repairs in Wake County, North Carolina: - Pavement Repairs: The pavement on the land side of the bulkhead area has eroded due to the effects of varying lake levels. A section of the access road to the bulkhead shows signs of subbase failure and requires repair. - Slope Protection: The slope on the land side of the bulkhead paved area will be reinforced with new rip rap. - Concrete Bulkhead Repairs: Subsurface soils of the concrete bulkhead is being eroded through weep holes and requires repairs. Wood boat bumpers on the lake side of the concrete bulkhead have deteriorated due to weathering and shall be replaced.
