Description | For the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary or incidental to "Construction of Permanent Wastewater Treatment Plant for Fort Bend County MUD No. 58, Fort Bend County, Texas." TPDES NO. WQ0014520001 Scope of Work includes: Contractor to furnish all materials, labor and equipment for construction of a proposed 1.20 million gallons per day (MGD) permanent concrete wastewater treatment facility including demolition of existing 1.08 MGD steel wastewater treatment plant. Construction to include but not limited to: Excavation, installation and backfill of one (1) reinforced concrete entrance box with overflow box and screening, two (2) reinforced concrete aeration basins with aeration equipment, one (1) reinforced concrete entrance and exit channels, one (1) reinforced concrete splitter box, two (2) reinforced concrete clarifiers, two (2) reinforced concrete digester basins with associating decant, sludge piping, and aeration equipment, two (2) reinforced concrete chlorine contact basins with aeration equipment, entrance box, effluent v-notch weir, non-potable water pumps, one (1) Sludge Pump Station with foundation pad, four (4) centrifugal pumps, RAS/WAS meter, one (1) Scum Pump Station include foundation, two (2) submersible pumps, three (3) centrifugal blowers with foundation pad and shelter canopy, existing chemical storage shelter canopy, and all required appurtenances. Complete in Place. Site work to include but not limited to: Demolition as indicated in the plans, temporary reroute existing 24" effluent RCP pipe to outfall manhole, site filling, site grading/drainage, site restoration, concrete driveway, sidewalks, bollards, yard piping, remove and replace outfall manhole, install caps as indicated in the plans, inlets, MCC building, headworks relocation, lift station MCC relocation, two (2) automatic slide gates, Intermittent by-pass pumping will be required during various stages of work to be furnished and operated by the contractor, electrical work, and all required appurtenances. Complete in Place. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. |
