Plumbing Services - Los Angeles and Ventura County

Plumbing Services - Los Angeles and Ventura County Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, and incidentals necessary to provide miscellaneous, on-call, as needed, routine and non-routine plumbing services to Caltrans-owned properties within the Counties of Los Angeles and Ventura. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's 25 percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB), SBs for the purpose of Public Works (SB-PW), and contractors willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of their net bid price to certified SBs, MBs (if applicable), or SB-PWs, are encouraged to submit bids. See Section D, Special Programs, Item 1, in this IFB for requirements. The DVBE Participation Program applies, and a three percent (3%) goal is required for this IFB. This Agreement requires Prevailing Wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000. If the total bid amount is under $15,000, then Prevailing Wage language will be removed prior to award. Refer to Attachment 15, Proposed Form of Agreement, for requirement details. Proposed Award Date (estimate) 10/13/2022 Written Question Submittal 09/27/2022 3:00 p.m. This Agreement will commence on October 24, 2022 (estimate) or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on October 23, 2025 (estimate).
