Water & Resource Recovery Center - RAS Pump Replacement - City of Dubuque

This project replaces all six return activated sludge (RAS) pumps used in the secondary treatment process. These pumps help remove sludge from the four final clarifiers and convey it to the front of the activated sludge basins. These pumps were last replaced in the 1990s, and are slowly reaching the end of their intended life. Replacement of the pumps will improve pumping performance and reliability. Estimated project cost is $900,000 (2021 Dollars). This project is in included in the City of Dubuque FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of June 15, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
