Description

Roof Deck and Parapet Repair at Natural Sciences Building All work on this Contract is to be completed within 120 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. The Question period is extended through October 20, 2022. Please email Sayim Malik, Project Manager (sayim.malik@purchase.edu) with your technical questions. Answers to questions will be posted in an Addendum issued on October 27, 2022, as needed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Prevailing Rate Case (PRC) Number assigned to this project is PRC# 2022009690. The rates of wages and supplements determined by the Industrial Commissioner of the State of New York as prevailing in the locality of the site at which the work will be performed can be found Pursuant to State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between Purchase College and an Offer or/Bidder during the procurement process. An Offer or/Bidder is restricted from making contacts from the earliest notice of intent to solicit proposals through final award and approval of the Procurement Contract by Purchase College/State University of New York and, if applicable, the Office of the State Comptroller ("restricted period") to other than designated staff unless it is a contact that is included among certain statutory exceptions set forth in State Finance Law 139-j(3)(a). Pursuant to the statute, Purchase College employees are also required to obtain certain information when contacted during the restricted period and maintain a record of the communication and make a determination of a knowing and willful contact. Contact made to other than designated staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the vendor from the current award and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 120 calendar days
