| Description | The contract scope of work consists of the following discipline of re-roofing project shall comprise of a new mechanically attached, single-ply, white 60 mil TPO membrane over the existing roof. Wing D is approximately 27,100 square feet and wing E is approximately 27,400 square feet. Tapered insulation board shall have a minimum slope of 1/4-inch per foot and shall have an R-value of 30. All low surface areas where ponding occurs shall have crickets or tapered insulation installed to allow for positive drainage. Roofing membrane and flashing shall terminate on top of parapet wall and shall not be exposed to the outside stone wall surface. All new metal drip edge, gutters and downspouts shall be 24 gage pre-finished metal. Install flashing on pipe vents and curbs to meet a minimum of 6-inches height above roof top. Replace all air vents with new metal screened air vents. Install walk pads next to serviceable mechanical roof equipment and at roof edge access. A more detailed statement of work will be provided with solicitation package to all eligible contractors. |
