Description

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Proposal 1: Installation of approximately 5,000 lineal feet of 3-inch and 3/4 -inch water main/services and appurtenances along with electric service and appurtenances to serve 44 individual campsites. Proposal 2: Work at the proposed comfort station (showers and bathroom facility) - Installation of a 30' x 24' comfort station (BY OTHERS). - Construction of a foundation, stoops and sidewalk around the proposed facility. - Installation of utilities to connect to the proposed comfort station - Installation of a private onsite wastewater treatment facility (septic and drainfield), potatble water fill station and sanitary dump station. - Construction of an asphalt parking lot with an alternate bid to pave a 400 foot +/- driveway. The anticipated substantial completion date is June 30, 2023 and final completion date is July 15, 2023. However, there is an incentive completion date of May 24, 2023 for Proposal 1 and a Milestone completion date of May 12, 2023 for specific work in Proposal 2. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
