St. Vincent de Paul Public Facility Improvements

The City of Pocatello has secured funding for a public facility improvement project for St. Vincent de Paul located at 855 South 2nd Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho 83201. The project will comprise removing old fencing, existing stairs and ramp, an existing concrete slab, and existing pavement mainly to the West of the facility. The project will include foundation repairs, installation of a new ADA ramp with stairs and a new asphalt parking lot. The project requires a 1-year workmanship and at least a 1-year product warranty. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State, and Federal requirements including but not limited to Davis-Bacon wages. Davis-Bacon wage rates are included in the bid package documents and wage rates should be reflected in the total bid price. In determining the lowest responsive bidder, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the Owner will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the Owner to evaluate the bidder's qualifications. City of Pocatello reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Pocatello. This project is being funded through the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and all program requirements, including federal regulations and local policies and procedures, must be adhered to throughout the duration of the project.
