Description | The Erie County Department of Public Works - Division of Buildings and Grounds (herein also referred to as "The County") is seeking Qualification Statements for an Engineering consultant to provide on-call professional services related to the project described above. Services to be provided are on-call for the Erie County Dept. of Public Works, and/or any other Erie County Department by request. Project locations include Countywide Sites and Facilities. In general, the work will include, but is not limited to, asbestos and environmental survey work, design services to prepare construction documents for advertisement to obtain an abatement contractor through the County's public bidding process, project monitoring, sampling, laboratory services and reporting. Design services required to prepare documents for bidding will be in accordance with Section A - Scope of Services, at a negotiated and mutually agreed upon price by the County and the selected Consultant as projects throughout the term contract arise based on the agreed upon scope of work for a given project and/or service. It may be required for the selected design consultant to work with other design consultant that have been selected as part of a separate RFP/ RFQ and scope of work if needed. It is expected of the selected consultant to work with all parties involved in a given scope of work/ project to achieve a successful project. Hazardous Material Surveys performed in a selected building will be performed at a negotiated and mutually agreed upon price by the County and the selected Consultant as projects throughout the term contract arise based on the agreed upon scope of work for a given project and/or service. Survey work may also be completed on a time and material basis in accordance with the Rate of Service included in Schedule E. The qualification statements, past company experience and resumes of professional staff shall illustrate the Consultants' ability to provide comprehensive asbestos and environmental professional services with strict adherence to applicable federal, state, county and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. For consideration the Consultant must submit all items required as part of this RFP/ RFQ. Consultant is also to provide the licenses as applicable certifying the proposed team has the proper certifications to perform work included herein. |
