Winners Way and Illini Drive Pavement Patching Project

Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from the due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to City of East Peoria, in amount of five percent of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. The project shall be substantially completed within 8 weeks from the preconstruction meeting date or before August 5th, 2023, whichever occurs sooner. Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of Owner, such action will serve the best interest of Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (820 ILCS 130/1, et seq.).
