Bayview Avenue Bulkhead and Walkway Improvements

This project requires compliance with the Town of Brookhaven Apprenticeship Training Program. See page 78-85 for compliance requirements. 4. The primary trade classification for this contract is as follows: Dock Builder, Laborer. However, the Town reserves the right to approve any trade that it deems applicable and appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed under the Contract(s). 5. This project requires the following: a. License for General Construction 6. This project requires 10 years of previous experience as it directly relates to the stated SOW. Documentation must be provided in support of the cited experience. Failure to meet these requirements or to submit the required documentation with your proposal may result in the disqualification of the submission SCOPE OF THE WORK The Town Board reserves the right to award this Contract to the lowest qualified bidder and to reject and declare invalid any or all bids deemed not in the best interest of the Owner. In awarding this Contract, the Town is not bound by the quantities stated in the Bid Form. It is emphasized that the quantities are approximations only. No guarantee is made for any quantities stated nor is a guarantee made for the total bid or alternate total bid. Such total bid or alternate total bid are for the purpose of guidance in awarding the Contract only. Payment shall be on the basis of actual work done at the unit prices quoted. The Town reserves the right to bid independently and award quantities that are equal to or greater than fifty (50%) percent of the approved annual expenditure for the contracted work
