Description This Project consists of the construction of an approximate 10,000 linear foot force main and improvements at the Village Proper Lift Station for the purpose of redirecting wastewater from lagoons to the Westside WWTP. Lift station improvements include replacing two 15-hp pumps, guide rails, electrical panel, and all necessary appurtenances. Improvements at the Westside WWTP include the replacement of existing headworks with new influent structure including new mechanical screen, parshall flume, and ultrasonic flow meter. Construction of a new 120' x 60' asphalt sludge drying bed with a tipping dewatering container on a concrete slab. New dry sludge holding cells will be constructed from reconfiguring existing serpentine channel. A new septage offloading station to be constructed and tied into the existing infrastructure. Effluent disinfection improvements include the replacement of the existing ultraviolet disinfection system with two open channel ultraviolet disinfection units.
