Description | As of 7/26/2022 no award has been made. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. For Boiler Replacement Peoria Players Theatre A list of planholders can be obtained upon request. This information will be available up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled bid opening time. After that deadline, no information pertaining to the project will be given. A 10% Bid Bond is required, and is to be included with the Bid Proposal. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond within ten (10) days of formal Award of Contract. Per owner all bids were rejected, and this project will re-bid at a a future time and date TBD. The general prevailing rate of wage for the Peoria area shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute this contract or perform this work as required by the State of Illinois Department of Labor. Additionally, it is required that provisions of the Illinois Preference Act, the Illinois Drug Free Workplace Act, and the Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Act must be adhered to. Bidders are also advised that contract documents for this project include the non-discrimination, equal opportunity and affirmative action provisions in the Human Rights Act and rules and regulations of the Department of Human Rights. The Peoria Park District is an AA/EEO organization and encourages participation by minority and female-owned firms. The Peoria Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technical deficiencies, informalities or irregularities or rebid any project. It is a goal of the Peoria Park District to encourage 12% participation of minorities and women on Peoria Park District construction projects through contracts and workforce |
