Broadmoor Boulevard Extension Phase II R/W (Northern Boulevard to PDV) - City of Rio Rancho

The project consists of design of right-of-way maps and property acquisition for Broadmoor Blvd. full four-lane build out from Northern Blvd. to Paseo del Volcan (NM347). Broadmoor Blvd is a north/south arterial within the City of Rio Rancho that connects with the following east/west arterials (from south to north): NM 528 (via Country Club Drive and Sara Rd), Southern Blvd, Northern Blvd., Paseo del Volcan (NM 347), and US 550 via Northwest Loop Road (future). . Final design and construction of the four-lane roadway facility will be completed upon identification of funding and is likely to occur outside of the current planning period ending 06/30/2028. As of October 18, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2029 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
