Airfield Paving and Lighting

This project is for the repair of Airfield Lighting Circuits/ Repair Taxiway G / Repair Overruns/ Repair Runway 05-23 and Shoulders/ Repair Taxiway C. The project will involve approximately 3,290,000 square feet of mill and overlay work, and the approximate total full depth replacement is 471,000 square feet of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC). The proposed project includes: Repairing throats at Taxiway C to full depth to include conducting a repair of the north and south Taxiway C throats by removing all layers of pavement at full depth to subgrade and replace with PCC. Repairing Taxiway G sections to include removing the Asphalt over Portland cement Concrete (APC) at full depth to subgrade and replacing with Repairing the full length of Runway 05-23 using mill and overlay and full depth PCC methods as designed by variable milling of surface and overlay with asphalt concrete (AC) and repairing 1,200 LF to full depth with Repairing shoulders for the entire length of the runway by variable milling of surface and overlaying with asphalt Repairing the asphalt concrete paved overruns at the 23 and 05 ends of the runway by milling the surface and overlaying with asphalt Repairing by replacement of airfield lighting circuits (1) the complete approach system for runway 05 (2) the threshold light bar at the end of runway 23 (3) feeder cables from home runs at both 23 and 05 ends (4) Taxiway G edge lighting
