The Owner, Alpena Public Schools, will receive sealed bid proposals for the: Alpena High School - CTE Ramp Project, located at Alpena High School. Final Bidder Questions - Friday, July 7, 2023, by 12:00 p.m. Final Addendum Issued - Friday, July 7, 2023, by 3:00 p.m. Post Bid Interviews - Thursday, July 20, 2023 Award Recommendations - Friday, July 21, 2023 Board Owner Approval - Monday, July 31, 2023 The Project Architect is Integrated Designs Inc. (IDI) - 1021 W. Baraga Ave., Marquette, MI 49855 The Construction Manager is Wolgast Corporation, 1691 M-32, Suite 100, Alpena, MI 49707 The project consists of renovations to the existing building & Site. The work will be broken down into the following scope categories: Section 060000 General Trades Section 099000 - Painting Sections 222300 - Plumbing & 230000 Mechanical (HVAC) Section 260000 - Electrical A Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) of your Base Bid shall accompany each proposal or proposal combination. The Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check, or Money Order. No personal or company checks will be accepted as bid bonds. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. Familial Disclosure :All bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 and attach this information to the bid. The bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or the employee of the bidder and any member of the board, intermediate school board, or board of directors or the Superintendent of the school district, intermediate superintendent of the intermediate school district, or chief executive officer of the public school academy. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Wolgast uses Procore for their CM Software & Building Connected for bids. Please note: We will upload all drawings and drawing revisions as they are approved to the Drawings tool. However, it is each contractors responsibility to verify that they are working from the most up-to-date, approved drawings Iran Business Relationship: Affidavit All bidders must provide a signed Iran Business Relationship Affidavit. Effective April 1, 2013, all bids, proposals, and/or qualifications statements received in the State of Michigan must comply with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, 2012 P.A. 517. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include this signed affidavit. Owners Rights :The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept a bid other than the low bid, and waive informalities, irregularities, and/or errors in the bid proposals which they feel to be in their own best interest.
