Description

Madison County Sheriff's Office Requests Proposals for Installation of the Remaining VRF System (Including Copper, Communication Cable, and Power Wiring) Question Deadline 09/18/2023 at 12:30 PM CT Scope of Work: 1. Installation and commissioning of six separate VRF systems 2. Evaluate the completion status of each system, which is currently in various stages of completion. 3. verify and include any remaining items necessary to compile each system in the price. 4. Provide additional materials if insufficient materials are not available onsite at the sheriff's office. 5 pressure test and install any previously installed rekigeration piping on incomplete systems following the manufacturer's recommendations. 6 of previously installed condensate piping on incomplete systems per manufacturer recommendations. 7: Ensure proper installation of previously installed indoor and outdoor units on incomplete systems following the manufacturer's recommendations. 8. Verify the sufficiency and compliance of previously installed power wiring on incomplete systems per manufacturer's recommendations. 9. Verify the sufficiency and compliance of previously installed control components and wiring on incomplete systems per the manufacturer's recommendations. 10. Ensure that all previously installed system components on incomplete systems are coded compliant. 11. Consult with carrier Toshiba for guidance on acceptable installation methods to ensure adherence to generally accepted standards and to ensure warranty compliance upon installation. 12. Most of the work is above the existing ceiling grid; repair or replace any damaged ceiling grid resulting from the installation. 13. Provide and install any additional concrete pads required for outdoor units as part of this scope of work. 14. coordinate and schedule work with the sheriff's department as the facility remains active. 15. Accommodate schedules for training or meetings, avoiding work in those areas until an acceptable timeframe is established with the sheriff's office. 16. Provide a one-year warranty for all work performed under this scope of work. 17. Coordinate equipment startup with a Carrier Toshiba factory representative. 18. Ensure HVAC equipment warranties specific to the equipment are carried out by the purchaser. To be publicly opened for furnishing the following supplies, materials, and/or services, the right is reserved, as the interest of the county may require, to reject or accept any and/or all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bids. For bid protests, contact the Madison County Purchasing Office for a copy of Madison County's Bid Protest Procedure. Other counties within the state of Tennessee shall have the option to contract for the products or services procured by Madison County via this bid and at the bid prices stated, if allowable by state and local statutes and if agreed to by the vendor.
