Construction of Pre-Engineered Metal Building Trades Shop at Barnegat Tolls

Proposals are invited for Contract No. P500.725, which involves construction of a new 40' x 60' Pre Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) at the Barnegat Toll Plaza at Garden State Parkway at Milepost 68.94 in Barnegat, New Jersey. Construction also includes mechanical and electrical work for the PEMB, a motorized gate and various site work items including the milling and resurfacing of the existing parking lot. Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5M64 Surface Course ..................................................................................... 122 Tons Bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid presentation to be conducted by the Authority for the purpose of providing general information regarding the work involved under this Contract. The pre-bid site visit will be the only opportunity for the prospective Bidders to visit the site. During the pre-bid site visit a tour of the site will be conducted. No other site visits will be scheduled. Arrangements for the prospective Bidders to gain access to the site for the pre-bid site visit will be provided via e-mail to the prospective Bidders that register, as indicated above. Nothing discussed or presented at the pre-bid site visit shall be considered part of the Contract. All requests for interpretation or correction must be submitted in accordance with Subsection 102.05. Bidders must be prequalified under the State of New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, Classification C008, General Construction OR Classification C009 General Construction, Alterations and Additions, Rating up to $2,000,000 minimum prior to the receipt of bids. For proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $10 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. Bidders shall submit evidence of their current and valid assigned NJDMPC Classification and Rating to the Authority's Engineering Department no later than January 25, 2023.
