Description | Furnishing all labor and material and performing all Work required for the 1750 kW Generator Relocation from Adams Field Water Reclamation Facility (AFWRF) to Fourche Creek Water Reclamation Facility (FCWRF). The project consists of the following incidental and ancillary work: Relocation of 1750 kW generator and ancillary related construction activities Contractor's Bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total maximum Bid Price, payable without recourse to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days following the opening of Bids. All bids are subject to the conditions of Section 00200 Information for Bidders of the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms provided each in the amount of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract Price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Bidders are cautioned that Bids for this Project are subject to compliance with Arkansas Law for construction of Public Works as found in Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-101, etc. The Bidder shall thoroughly acquaint himself and comply with the provisions of these Acts. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received. Bidders must be licensed in compliance with Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Law found in Arkansas Code 17-25-101, etc. All bidders' questions must be received in writing by email no later than 3:00 pm CST on October 25, 2022 by contacting Kira Wise at kira.wise@lrwu.com. |
