| Description | The work includes the installation of new conduit, handholes, fiber optic interconnect, wireless transmission systems, cellular modems, remote controlled video systems, full-actuated controllers, and layer II switches to expand the LCDOT fiber optic ITS communication network. The work also includes the installation of new PTZ cameras, camera mounting assemblies, fiber optic cable terminations & splices, terminal servers, conduit, fiber optic and tracer cable, and other related work. Traffic Control and Protection is required for this project. Major pay items include 21 each Remote Controlled Video System; 17 each Layer II (Datalink) Switch; 14 each Full-Actuated Controller in Existing Cabinet; 19 each Wireless Transmission System Point to Point and 3644 feet Underground Conduit, Galvanized Steel2" Dia.
