Description

The Park Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located at North Park Drive (City Park) in Salisbury, MD is used as a secondary source for the City water supply. The City is requesting bids from qualified and experienced companies to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals for replacing the Historic slate roof per. The purpose of this work is to provide a weather tight exterior envelope for the roof of the Park WTP. The nominal dimensions of the building are 81.35’x33.84’ (including the 22’’ roof overhangs). The existing slate roof requested for in-kind replacement is attached to wood battens that are affixed to a 4’’ thick reinforced concrete roof with a nominal pitch of 8/12.
