| Description | Replace Boiler – NNPTC Central Energy Plant, B2409 - Joint Base Charleston (Weapons Station - NNPTC): Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to complete - work will be conducted in Building 2409. Central Energy Plant (Building 2409) at NNPTC houses two (2) gas-fired boilers that provide steam to the adjacent Galley (Building 2402). One (1) of the existing boilers (Boiler #1) is not operational and it will be replaced under this contract. The second boiler will remain in place and must be operational throughout construction. The new boiler shall be designed for 150-psi steam and the operating pressure is 55-psi (adjustable). |
